There are a number of personal size watermelon's available. Sugar Baby is one. There are dark green skin like green, ones with stripes - but one thing they share in common - all are great tasting on the inside!

I'm with Mark. Sometimes when I'm typing about watermelon, I get a little distracted too. As for the little watermelons, I believe you're referring the "Sugar Baby" variety. Small and sweet, just like its name implies!

anyone ever try those cute little melons? You can cut them in half and scoop out the inside with a spoon.

I still like the bigger melons, if I am having company. What I dont eat, I just store in the fridge, and snack on. It's guilt free!

whoops, my keyboard got a way from me just thinking about that salsa. I meant to say: giving the watermelon dices a chance to release some mouth watering juice by keeping it in the fridge overnight. Sometimes I can't do that because it is so tempting.

The watermelon salsa is great!. I personally like to have it set overnight in the fridge giving the watermelon cubes a chance the release some juice making giving it a consistancy of tradtional salsa.

Kinda of scary to walk away from tomatoes altogether. I wonder if it's more economical to use watermelon than tomatoes? I know I could make a lot more with a watermelon than with four tomatoes.

It's great to see so many other watermelon enthusiasts out there. Glad to know I'm not alone...even though I knew I never was! If you'd like, go ahead and enter your email address in the subscription box. It's like getting watermelon delivered right to your in-box (sort of).
