AUGUST PRIZE: THE WATERMELON FLASH DRIVE

flashdrive

I don’t use flash drives, but if I had a watermelon flash drive like the one above, I’d probably use it every day. I’d be putting files and photos on it from work and taking them home with me for no reason at all. Just because I can and because I have a cool watermelon USB flash drive.

The drive above contains 8 gigabytes of memory, which is quite a bit compared to the flash drives of yesteryear. Within this little slice of Crimson Sweet, you can store 2,000 songs (that’s like 130 albums!), 7,000 photos, or 8 hours of video. Not too shabby. As always, I’ll give this USB drive away to one commenter chosen at random at the end of the month. Good luck, and start thinking about what you’re going to store on this bad boy.

I love watermelon! I’m in college, and I save a lot of important stuff on flash drives. Unfortunately, I have a bad habit of leaving them in the library and student computer labs. But if I had this delicious flash drive, I would be so amazed by it that I would never lose it. Not to mention, it would save me from having to rewrite my term papers…

  11. Sarah says:

Yes! I still have to submit all my watermelon picture to the Watermelon Guy here! We had a wonderful watermelon week in first grade- from watermelon scented playdough- to watermelon glyphs- to watermelon read aloud stories- we even started a worm farm to create our own compost soil so we can start growing our own watermelons next spring! Our math center was all about watermelons- I even had bright green counters to go along with our pink and green room theme! It was a watermelon delicious week! Pictures to be emailed soon! AND I still have my fingers crossed for that flash drive!
