FROM UTAH TO TORONTO, IT’S DEFINITELY TIME FOR SOME WATERMELON!


As you’d expect, the summer is a busy time of the year when it comes to watermelon events. Earlier this month in Lehi, Utah at the Macey’s grocery store, the store celebrated its grand opening by creating the “world’s largest watermelon display.” The spread featured 8,100 watermelons and one very photogenic clown, both of which can be see in the video below.

Also, our Florida and Georgia watermelon queens recently visited Toronto for the 11th Annual Longos Watermelon Eating Contest. An article about their adventure can be seen here and a photo of Jenna, the Georgia watermelon queen, is included below.

    I LOVE it!!!! Watermelon time IS fun time!!! Good work queens!!! It’s great to see Watermelon celebrated and promoted is such a big way!!!
