I spent a lot of time searching for this month’s featured product and prize, probably more time than I should have. There’s A LOT of watermelon stuff out there for the kitchen, but not a lot for the rest of the house. Regardless, I was able to finally find something worthy of being named our October What About Watermelon prize.

No, it’s not the outfit on the right (more about that later), it’s a watermelon cat figurine! Pictured below, this little guy stands three inches tall and is made of stone resin, which I guess makes it really heavy because the shipping weight is three pounds. You can put him wherever you want. On your desk at work, on a book shelf, or even peeking out from behind the coffee maker in the kitchen.

I’ll choose one comment at random from all the comments on the blog this month to receive this little guy. Good luck!

By the way, if you’re going to a Halloween party this year and can’t decide what costume to wear, might I suggest going as a giant slice of watermelon? For only 50 bucks, you can buy the costume on the right and be the life of the party. If anyone asks what you’re supposed to be (as if it’s not painfully obvious), you can tell them you’re the fifth member of the Fruit of the Loom gang. Without clicking on the previous link, can anyone name the other four members of the Fruit of the Loom bunch?
