In my search for a video to feature here on What About Watermelon this month, I discovered that there are a lot of videos featuring animals eating watermelon. Cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, squirrels, elephants – pretty much any animal you can think of seems to enjoy watermelon (and being videotaped while eating it).
The abundance of animal videos inspired me to create a monthly “featured animal-eating-watermelon video” blog entry. It’s not the most creative blog entry title, but it works.
Our first animals eating watermelon video is as cute and cuddly as they come. Check it out below. And yes, I’m pretty sure that long-haired guinea pig on the far right has a bow in her (his?) hair.
