They\u2019ll shoot you with their poisonous quills just because you looked at them wrong and then laugh while you lie on the ground in agony.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, that depiction of porcupines is completely false. They\u2019re not mean-spirited creatures, and it\u2019s not their fault Mother Nature gave them such a bristly exterior. Take the baby porcupine in the video below, for example. Does he look scary while he gnaws intently on that chunk of watermelon? Nah.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he looks so cuddly and soft, you just want to pick him up and give him a big hug. But don\u2019t, because his porcupine quills <em>will<\/em> poke you and he\u2019ll get really scared and probably pee on you.
