You know, it\u2019s not easy choosing a prize to give away here on the blog each month. Actually, that\u2019s not entirely true. There are plenty of watermelon-related gifts to choose from; it\u2019s just that I\u2019m a little picky when it comes to finding the \u201cperfect\u201d one.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m the same way with birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, anniversary gifts \u2026 you name it. I shouldn\u2019t be \u2013 it\u2019s the thought that counts, right? \u2013 but I always end up spending way too much time agonizing over my options and getting stressed out about something that, frankly, shouldn\u2019t be that stressful.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, I\u2019ve begun combing through watermelon gifts that I\u2019ve given away in the past to see which prizes deserve a return to the spotlight. This month\u2019s prize was originally posted back in 2009, but it\u2019s one of the cooler things we\u2019ve featured on the blog, so I\u2019ve decided to give it another look.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a set of three ceramic watermelon canisters (above). The canisters stand about eight inches tall and are available on Amazon.com<\/a>. The site even mentions that they\u2019re great for storing \u201ccookies, crackers, noodles, flour, sugar, candy\u2026 whatever you want!\u201d<\/p>\n

If the canisters were mine, I\u2019d probably fill them with breakfast cereal (I\u2019m an addict) and coffee (also an addict). If you win the canisters, what would you fill them with?<\/p>\n
