I\u2019m not sure you can celebrate the \u201cbirthday\u201d of a website, but I\u2019m going to do it anyhow. After all, if people can celebrate birthdays for dogs and cats (with parties much larger than anything I got when I was growing up!), I should be able to celebrate the birth of a website, right?<\/p>\n

So what do you get for a one-year-old website? I\u2019m not really sure. I don\u2019t even know what to get for a one-year-old human. My nephew recently celebrated his first birthday, and I bought him a remote-controlled airplane. I guess I sort of overestimated the hand-eye coordination of a one-year-old (he\u2019s still working on the whole \u201cwalking\u201d thing). It doesn\u2019t matter though, because his father loves the remote-controlled airplane, so it turned out to be a good gift after all.<\/p>\n
