The great poet William Smith once wrote \u201cSummer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind.\u201d He was right, of course. Today marks the first official day of summer, and I\u2019m definitely ready to sit back and get unwound.<\/p>\n
This will be my first full summer with our new baby girl, and Mommy and I are looking forward to doing all sorts of fun summertime things with her, including celebrating her first birthday in late August. Now that she\u2019s finally eating solid food, I\u2019m also looking forward to giving her a taste of watermelon for the first time.<\/p>\n
Her mommy keeps close tabs on which foods we\u2019re introducing during which months (it\u2019s an incredibly detailed process). I\u2019m not sure where watermelon fits in that schedule, but I hope soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
