As one of the world\u2019s biggest watermelon fans (I\u2019ll stop short of declaring myself the <\/em>biggest fan), I\u2019m always on the lookout for new and inventive ways to enjoy my favorite fruit.<\/p>\n

Wedges and cubes? Sure, we\u2019ve all done that, but have you tried watermelon salsa? How about watermelon as an ingredient in a mixed drink? An article forwarded to me by a friend offers a look at \u201c6 unique ways to eat watermelon<\/a>.\u201d I opened the link with excitement and was pleased to find that I\u2019ve eaten watermelon in five of the six ways suggested in the article.<\/p>\n

Among the suggested categories are alcoholic drinks, sandwiches, soups, ice cream, salsa and fried watermelon (which is the only way I haven\u2019t sampled it).<\/p>\n
