FEBRUARY PRIZE: WATERMELON WATER BOTTLE

Every January, I make two New Year’s resolutions — one for the Watermelon Guy here on the blog, and another for my own personal benefit. While the Watermelon Guy’s resolutions keep getting more and more interesting (this year’s will be to set a watermelon-related Guinness World Record), my personal goal usually stays uncomplicated. In fact, for the last few years, I’ve resolved to do something simple — to be healthier.

My goal isn’t necessarily weight loss (although a six-pack would be nice), but I want to change my eating habits to include healthier, more nutritious options. I know I’m not the only one who’s guilty of a late-night rendezvous with the cookie jar, but being more mindful of this will help me change my not-so-healthy habits.

This month, we’re giving away a prize that will help you in your quest to a healthier lifestyle, or just carry your favorite beverage. This Watermelon Water Bottle ($23 on Amazon) can hold 24-ounces of water, coffee or whatever you’d like! Leave a comment on this blog post with an update on your New Year’s resolution, and I’ll choose one comment at random as the winner!

  • Absolutley Love this bottle !
I need to step up my game on my resolution to walk more, every step counts !

  • What a cool water bottle! I love it! I also am trying to eat healthier and just be healthier. It’s a slow process, but i am still trying on 2/2/2016!

  • My resolution was to eat healthier and get more exercise. I did okay for a few days and then the cold and dark days didn’t help. I plan to start again this month and see if I can do better than January. Thanks for the chance to win such a fun water bottle :)

  • My new years resolution was to grow watermelon..have to wait for the right weather, tho.

  • I also have decided to drink more water, especially during my work day. Drinking coffee is a new habit I developed over the past two years. So drinking liquids that dehydrate you and working in a kitchen that can get pretty warm is not a good combination. A bottle like this will get me to drink more water and remind of one on the nutritional values of watermelon, plenty of juice.

  • Wherever I go, so too, goes my water bottle. It’s a must! You see, I have Sjogrens, which means moisture must be replenished since this syndrome causes my body to be extremely dry. My New Years resolution is to continue to pay it forward. I’ve been doing this for several years now, whether it be helping someone out, to giving money for a well deserved child’s pair of winter boots…..

  • I’ve kept up with walking daily and have increased the distance I’m going. It’s been really hot since the New Year and I have to walk with water, this would make it so much easier for me to hold/carry with this lid – thanks for the chance, love the graphics
