This is Ganesha, a very lucky pet squirrel whose owner has provided her (it’s clearly a girl squirrel) with a juicy slice of watermelon. That looks like way more watermelon than a squirrel can eat in one sitting, so I’m guessing she ended up stashing the leftovers somewhere. Maybe next to that apple in that nest-looking thing on the right.
Truth be told, I’ve always wanted a pet squirrel, and this video has reignited that unlikely dream. I remember one time when a squirrel found its way into our office building and couldn’t get out. I thought briefly about catching it and taking it home but I didn’t know how to catch it. Maybe if I had had some watermelon, I could have convinced it to come home with me and I’d be the proud owner of a squirrel today.
