For me, Christmas is all about time spent with family and friends as we eat, drink and be merry. I’ve never been the type to go all-out for Christmas and spend hundreds of dollars on material gifts. Thankfully, my wife is the same way. We’d prefer to spend Christmas together, rather than at the stores trying to find the best holiday deals.

But that doesn’t mean I won’t jump on a good deal when I see one. This Watermelon Fruit Serving Bowl ($25) is a great example, and will make the perfect addition to your dinner table this holiday season.

It measures a full foot long by about six inches tall, which means you can fill it with just about anything. You can serve chips or pretzels in it, if you want to play it safe. For a more literal approach, you can fill it with watermelon chunks. Or you can use it to make the best ice cream sundae EVER.

Leave a comment below with what you’d put in this bowl, and I’ll choose one comment at random to receive this yuletide treasure. Good luck!

I would use it to make a nice Christmas planter with some pine cones red berry’s
    added for contrast.

  2. byron says:

Of Course it would be WATERMELON fruit salad!

  3. Penny says:

    Oh my goodness!
I love to eat out of a watermelon half, but now I can eat anything out of a watermelon half!?
To be perfectly honest, I would eat everything out of here: soup, salad, pasta- BUT I would HAVE to eat watermelon out of my watermelon bowl. It could only feel right.

  4. Rhonda Hunt says:

    Watermelon, of course!

  5. Suki says:

Everything! Watermelon chunks and watermelon salads with goat cheese. Watermelon based punches. Sangria. Ice cream might melt so I’d have to freeze the bowl!

  6. Joni Metcalf says:

Love this. I love my watermelon. Merry Christmas!!

  7. Kim scudder says:

Watermelon caipiroska -watermelon, sugar, vodka, ice

  8. Elaine Bo says:

With the warm weather over Christmas, I’d fill this bowl with a tropical fruit punch that contains a little bit of champagne. I’d also make ice cubes out of the blended frozen fruit or frozen juice so when it melts, it doesn’t dilute the fruit punch!

  9. Cindy Carver says:

    A beautiful fruit salad!

  10. Laurie says:

A large fruit salad at my summer barbecue.

  11. Darlene says:
