I’m not sure you can celebrate the “birthday” of a website, but I’m going to do it anyhow. After all, if people can celebrate birthdays for dogs and cats (with parties much larger than anything I got when I was growing up!), I should be able to celebrate the birth of a website, right?
So what do you get for a one-year-old website? I’m not really sure. I don’t even know what to get for a one-year-old human. My nephew recently celebrated his first birthday, and I bought him a remote-controlled airplane. I guess I sort of overestimated the hand-eye coordination of a one-year-old (he’s still working on the whole “walking” thing). It doesn’t matter though, because his father loves the remote-controlled airplane, so it turned out to be a good gift after all.
So yes, What About Watermelon turns one year old today. Happy birthday, buddy! Here’s to another year of recipes, products, musings and rants about all things watermelon-related!
