Yes, I know this is yet another May entry with an exclamation point in the title, but if there’s an entry this month to get excited about, it’s this one. That’s because the polls are now open to determine the winner of our watermelon recipe contest. (See poll in the sidebar on the right.)
It wasn’t easy to choose the finalists, and I’d like to thank everyone who submitted recipes in this year’s contest. If you’re voting, please vote wisely because the winner of the recipe contest will have the option of choosing any prize from all the monthly prizes given away here on What About Watermelon.
Speaking of prizes, like I mentioned in an entry earlier this month I’m asking everyone to send me their best watermelon pictures (any photos that depict people, watermelon and fun). If I feature your photo here on the blog, you’ll receive some cool watermelon coasters. Loyal What About Watermelon reader Frannie of Kalamazoo, MI sent in the photo below.
